We’re a small, family-run business named in honor of our five four-legged sidekicks—Piper, Nova, Bo, Charlie, and Lubbs—who remind us every day what really matters: loyalty, adventure, and enjoying the moment. The “Five Dogs” name isn’t a marketing gimmick; it’s our promise to operate with the same loyalty and energy they show us.

We’re everyday people who juggle work, life, family, and those rare quiet moments with a good cup of coffee. We created Five Dogs to be the kind of brand we wish we’d found sooner:

The Five Dogs of Five Dogs Outfitters

All good girls and boys — meet the pack that inspired Five Dogs Outfitters. Each of them has a story, and together they remind us why loyalty, second chances, and muddy paw prints matter.

Piper

Piper is a 5-year-old Beagle mix and our “alpha” dog. She came to us from a tough situation that left her homeless, and she’s been chasing tennis balls and bossing everyone around ever since. She LOVES playing fetch and takes her job as big sister seriously.

Nova

Nova is a 4-year-old Beagle. Her previous owner passed away, and she spent some time “running free” before we agreed to foster — and then, of course, failed at fostering. Nova is sweet, smart, and always ready for a sniffing adventure.

Lubbs

Lubbs is a 2-year-old Mountain Cur and our resident lovebug. We adopted her after a family member could no longer keep her. She loves being outside, playing with her brother Bo, and soaking up attention. When she’s happy, her whole back half wags with her tail.

Charlie

Charlie is a 7-year-old Sheltie with a big heart. After her prior owner passed away from cancer, she needed somewhere safe to land. Now she’s our co-pilot and road trip partner — nothing makes her happier than a car ride.

Bo

Bo is a 1-year-old Boxer–Cane Corso mix and our second “foster fail.” We adopted him at 8 weeks old from a high-intake shelter in Oklahoma after a local Beagle rescue put out an urgent request. He arrived underweight and shut down; now he’s nearly 80 pounds of muscle, goofiness, and nonstop affection.

Our Commitment to Helping Pets in Need

Five Dogs Outfitters was inspired by rescue stories, not marketing copy. As our small business grows and becomes profitable, our goal is to donate up to 20% of our net profits to local rescues and organizations that support dogs like Piper, Nova, Lubbs, Charlie, and Bo. We’re in the early stages now, but as our giving program launches we’ll share updates on our Giving Back page.
